About Us:
My Window and Door Guy is a state licensed contractor working throughout the greater Tampa Bay, FL area. We work directly with homeowners who are looking to upgrade their old, outdated windows and doors with new ones. While our founders have been in the window and door industry for many years, we are a new company as of 09/01/2024.
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced specialist to oversee all aspects related to installation of replacement windows, doors, sliding patio doors, and infrequently, hurricane shutters. You will work from post-sale to coordinate with our customers everything from gathering order size measurements to post-inspection punch list items.
Job Responsibilities:
- Taking post-sale measurements for ordering purposes.
- Inspect and assess installations, ensuring quality and compliance with FBC requirements and best practices.
- Coordinate with sub-contractors, sales, and project teams.
- Provide accurate job site documentation, including all materials needed for installation (e.g. scaffolding, brickmould, concrete, etc.).
- Manage order verification and delivery.
- Perform installation recovery work and training when needed.
Job Requirements:
- The ideal candidate has 5+ years full-time experience as an installer replacing windows and doors in the southeast, preferably in Florida.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Have your own tools, and don’t mind stepping in to help out during customer installations.
- Ability to use technology (CRM, smart phones, etc.).
Job Preferences (not required):
- General construction industry experience.
- Bi-Lingual (English & Spanish).
Job Benefits:
- This is a full time W-2 employee position.
- Salary + Bonus. Pay is commensurate with experience.
