About Us:

My Window and Door Guy is a state licensed contractor working throughout the greater Tampa Bay, FL area. We work directly with homeowners who are looking to upgrade their old, outdated windows and doors with new ones.

While our founders have been in the window and door industry for many years, we are a new company as of 09/01/2024. The operations associate will report directly to the founder, and serve as his “right-hand” person ensuring the myriad of day-to-day tasks get done promptly, efficiently, and professionally.

Job Responsibilities:

You will be involved in most aspects of the customer journey: from the time a prospective customer reaches out to us until their permit is “closed’. This process typically takes 6-8 weeks, and involves interactions with multiple parties (manufacturers, permitting agencies, customers, accounting, installers, etc.).

A list of common, but not all, tasks you’ll be responsible for:

  • Contacting prospective customers via Phone, email, or text message to qualify them, and schedule sales appointments for the sales team.
  • Maintaining & updating our CRM system (HubSpot).
  • Contacting prospective sub-contractors in order to have them bid on jobs.
  • Permit Management – from ordering, receiving, and scheduling the building inspection.
  • Minor HR tasks – e.g. ensuring paperwork is properly completed by employees & sub-contractors.
  • Coordinating scheduling for deliveries & installation.
  • Reconciling Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable (spreadsheets, not accounting software).

 

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to type 45 words per minute. We will test this prior to any job offer.
  • Ability to write with proper grammar, capitalization, and punctuation.  
  • A quiet, distraction-free work environment is required for this work from home position (e.g., no background noise from pets, children, or other interruptions).
  • Dependable. We have zero tolerance for tardiness or unexcused absences. 
  • At least 1 years’ experience using any CRM system.
  • Meticulous – Attention to detail is imperative for you to be successful in this role.
  • Desire for Upward Advancement – As we grow our company, we expect your role to grow as well, including overseeing and management of future associates.
  • Proactive & Results-Driven – This position is ideal for someone who takes initiative, conducts research, and works independently to complete tasks. If you tend to wait for detailed instructions or need approval for each step, this role may not be the right fit.
  • Work Hours are 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Eastern, Monday – Friday. 

 

Job Preferences (not required):

  • Experience updating website content via WordPress
  • Bi-Lingual
  • Construction Industry Experience
  • Marketing experience – especially social media
